Help with wireless connection
Hi everyone
I bought a Gateway notebook with the though of using it in different areas of my apartment. We have a computer in a bedroom using Comcast cable high speed connection and it has a wireless-G router connected. The laptop comes with built-in wireless connectivity but I don't get connected to the Internet not even having the wireless-G router on the other computer. It gives me though an unsecure connection available which of course I'm not going to use. It also gives me a network connection done with other laptop but we forgot the security paraphrase. Why the supposed built-in wireless connectivity doesn't work? Why it doesn't get the signal from the main computer with the wireless router? What do I need to get to make it get connected anywhere in the apartment? Thank you very much for your help in advance. haydee Last edited by haydee; 11-25-2007 at 12:21 PM. Reason: spelling |
