Peculiar power problem on Vaio FS395
Hi. I have a most peculair problem on my VAIO laptop. It started a couple of weeks ago when everything I did on it started moving in slowmotion and it was almost as if everything just hung on it. I am running Windows XP professional on this one. I also noticed that the power plug turned really hot and you can almost not hold the plug in your hand because it gets so hot. However, when I pulled out the plug I noticed that the computer started to work again (ie if it was "hanging" it started doing its business as normal). So when I'm surfing for example, it may seem that things hangs since noting happens but if I pull out the power plug it will start downloading and do its business. When using the laptop with external AC power it will work for a while and the just stop. Pull the plug and it starts working again. Any help our suggestions would be much appreciated or I must be myself a new laptop.

Re: Peculiar power problem on Vaio FS395
From your description, it seems to me that the powerplug/adapter has a problem. Could you try to get another one (from a friend or from work?) and try with that?
