Revert Vista without dvd

Hi, im going to sell my laptop which has Vista Premium built into it.
I do have a problem however. Or, many to precise so i've decided to make the pc back to factory standard. Only that i dont have the installation disc since the laptop only came with built in OS and the ability to do a so-called "system recovery". I want to do a system recovery to the original state, but its not available. Only recovery from a few days ago is available from what i can see.

So, what should I do? Should i contact the seller or the product company.
Or is there another way to make the system reverted to factory state?'

Thanks

ZeRg

Re: Revert Vista without dvd

check your manual for operating system restore proceedure
you are getting a windows restore confused with a operating system restore
two entirely different things

Re: Revert Vista without dvd

Also a lot depends on your laptop model.

Some have hidden partitions that have your system restore on them, others by cd / dvd media.

If you do not have the media or any idea call the Manufacturer to get a new set of recovery disks or a walk through on how to restore to factory fresh install.
