Inspiron Vs. Aspire Graphic Cards?
Interesting, question?!
I review Dell Inspiron 1520 and Acer Aspire 5920G, tooth them have the same G.card and the same Mother board the question is? Why In Acer I can enlarge the Ram but in Ispiron I can’t, it’s the same graphic card (NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256MB)? Thx, Dimi. |

Actually they most likely don't have the same motherboard. Unfortunately, there is no industry standardization for laptop motherboards so two different manufacturers won't have the same board. As for the RAM, do you mean the shared video memory? If so, it is a BIOS limitation. But in either case, increasing shared RAM will not make a noticeable difference because the graphics card has its own frame buffer.
