Mistake Dell Inspriron 9100 - Will not power on.

Today I booted up my Dell 9100 Inspiron. Came up great. No problem. But then after about 2 minutes, It went out I mean just shut down. I rebooted thinking there were no problems. At first I thought the battery was dead so I plugged it back into the wall. But nothing came up. No post beep nor sounds or screen for windows. Checked the dell website and my warranty of course is out.

So this is the problem.

Computer is dead. Nothing starts up. I have removed the Memory, Harddrive and battery.

My green lights that has 3 locks on them dont light up anymore.

My power light does turn on for about a second or so. but nothing happens. Battery power shows good. And while its pluged in the light stays green.

no fans are running nor do i get a post beep. when power button is pressed.

anyone having this problem with Dell 9100..

let me know.. hope its not the motherboard.

It is not a 9100 but it is a dell and there are 5160's that are having a similar problem of not turning on (another was in a different thread)
