OS: Windows XP SP2

When I boot XP, it freezes at Welome Screen!
When I turn on my laptop (Presario 2100, XP SP2) It goes normally, until it fades into the welcome screen with the windows logo. But then it just stops! I've tried Last Known Configuration... any help?
