Dell Latitude C400 - Forgot Admin Password
My PC blew the other day so I thought I'd use my old laptop. It has XP Pro on it. I can't remember the password I set for the Admin account (I tried for half an hour, every password I ever used!) so I can't get in. I can get into the guest account though, but it won't let me do anything in there.
I was just going to reformat XP and put it on again, but this laptop hasn't got a CD Drive or a Floppy Drive. I also looked in the BIOS and there is no option there for booting from USB so I can't do it that way. I was also going to try a password resetting program but you need to burn them onto a CD and do them that way. Does anybody know of a way that I can get my laptop working again? |
