Battery info
I am sorry if I am posting in the wrong section, but I wasn't sure. I was told that if you leave your battery in, along with your power cord hooked up your battery slowly wears. If my battery is fully charged, should I take it out and just run it with just the power cord? I just want to make sure that It's ok to keep my fully charged battery in, along with my power cord plugged in without wearing down my battery.
Thanks, Mike |

Re: Battery info
I heard that when you run a laptop (or anything else that has a rechargeable battery) off of the a/c adapter, it will over time cause the battery to start to act more like a capacitor. With any battery you are suppose to drain the battery once in a while completely to keep it good. It is not good to have them just sitting around either. But you can run the laptop without the battery if you do use it a lot off the a/c, but remember not to unplug it while it is on.
