help Buying a Laptop

talked with a dell guy and i told him i want a gameing laptop that could play halo2 and age of empires, games like that. and he set me up with this laptop i know 1.4ghz isnt alot of prosesor power but on the flip side its duel core so i dont know im just looking for some advice.i wanted to keep it under 1000 but this is what he se me up with its came to like 1210 here are the specs and the price

I agree. ABS might even offer the 8700M GT which will be faster than the 8600M GT. You will probably even be able to get a Santa Rosa chip (800 MHz FSB mobile C2D).
