HP Compaq 7300 hard drive won't work
I have a HP Compaq 7300 laptop. I have a lot of very expensive software and plugins on it for working on diesel ECMs. Today, I was working on a truck and the battery went low. I was in a program accessing the ECM and when the battery went low it froze my program and wouldn,t let me close it properly. So I did a force power off with the power button and changed the battery, like I have had to do alot of times before. Well when I went to power it up, it brings up the screen asking if I want to start windows normaly or recover or start up in safe mode. no matter which one I try it just goes to the windows start up screen and stays there for a while then goes back to the other screen and then counts down and does it again over and over. I tried booting from disk to repair, but it tells me that I have no hard drive. I have tried taking the hard drive out and putting it back in but still the same thing. my programs are on the hard drive and cannot be put on another computer without paying the various engine manufaturers again. and they also marry themselves to the ram or prosessor or motherboard or something, in the form of a tool ID and putting the hard drive in another computer will change that tool ID thus making it nesessary to pay the manufacturers again. please help me recover!!!!
