HP laptop monitor dim
Ok, the other day a heavy text book slipped out of my hand as I was packing my stuff up and the corner of the book impacted hard into my HP laptop. The monitor then immediately went dim.
Now, I keep reading that it could be either the backlight bulb or the inverter or something like that, BUT the book hit nowhere near the monitor nor the inverter at all. The lid was open and the book hit about a little to the right of the trackpad, in front of the keyboard. So this was nowhere near the monitor. Yet, the monitor went dim. Ther other thing is, I don't know exactly what's under where it hit as the hard drive is to the left of where the impact was, the memory is in the middle. That being said, considering the impact hit nowhere near the monitor or the inverter, any idea what could have happend, could be wrong, or how to fix it? Thanks!
