[SOLVED] Mesh laptop ethernet controller

Hi there,
i have reformatted a friends laptop and found out they dont have a drivers CD, all i need is the driver for the ethernet controller, then i will be able to access the internet for updates to install the drivers, but i ahve had no luck.
It is a mesh pegasus 17" d47k notebook.

Can someone please help me find out what driver i need to get for the ethernet controller, or if there is a way to get on the internet since the ethernet doesnt work. I have thought of USB modem, but i dont have one.

Is there a wireless network around? How old is the laptop? If relatively new (last year or two), it should be wireless. If there is a wireless network connect and go. If not, you will have to go to where there is a pc with internet access to download the driver.

Its 2 years old but all the dirvers for all networking seem to be not functioning properly and needs the CD specific drivers, i cant even find the model of the motherboard to find out what the chipset is and download the drivers on my desktop PC put them on disk and run them on laptop.
Is there any way of conecting the laptop hard drive to my PC and download the updates for it that way? i dont know, im so stupid with this now.
Is there anything i can do get internet on this stupid laptop with out the CD? i cant find any informatin on google about this model of laptop.

There's no way to get it on the internet without a connection. Is the cd you were using to wipe the drive a manufacturer cd? If so, chances are that the drivers are on the cd.

I managed to find the site with the dirvers after 4 hours of looking. LOL

just scroll down to the laptop model list and there you go all the drivers for that model are listed.

The only reason i found it was because i found a site previous to the one above calling the mesh laptop MTECH notebook, so i googled "mtech notebook drivers", and it was the first hit.

Pretty easy in the end. LOL
