Acer 5670 PSU Problem

I've had my Acer 5670 for over a year and a half now, and today my laptop just turned off. Messing with it, I noticed the PSU is acting weird. When I plug it into the wall, the light turns green, but when I plug it into my laptop, it dims and flashes.

First off, I was wondering if that means my PSU is shot or not, and if not, what I could do to attempt to fix it.

Secondly, if it is shot, I was wondering where I could pick up an Acer 5670-compatible PSU. I didn't see any online at the Acer site or anything.

Thanks, I really need my laptop to work, lol.

Thanks. If it works properly, I'll prolly buy a second from them. I mean, two for the price of a normal one is nice, and I'm hoping that's the only problem. If it's the battery, I'll get pretty mad.

My PSU on my 5670 is doing the same exact thing. (blinking light when pluged in to the laptop) Did the problem end up being a bad power adapter or was it the mother board. I noticed that you had a later post saying that you had your mb replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah. I'm unsure of whether it was the connector in the motherboard that you plug the PSU in, or if it was something else wrong with the motherboard, but it is definitely a motherboard problem, not a PSU problem.
