Toshiba, Acer, or HP????
I need to get a laptop by this weekend for school and my local best buy, circuit city, and compusa have these brands on sale but I'm just wondering which brand is more well known and reliable? I think I'm more concerned of reliability than what it will have.

Re: Toshiba, Acer, or HP????
I would choose Acer over Toshiba and HP unless one of them was a really good deal.

Okay....which of these would you go with if they were the same price?

Re: Toshiba, Acer, or HP????
Acer is always chepest and is available at Costco, right next to the bag of 150 forzen chicken wings. I've had a Toshiba for the past three years and it has worked perfectly, even fixing my keyboard promptly when I claimed it stopped working on its own when it fact I had spilled Sprite all over it.
Haha. |

Re: Toshiba, Acer, or HP????
The Core 2 Duo T2060 is pretty weak considering it has half the cache its supposed to, so I would definitely go with the first one listed.
