laptop maintenance

hello, i use ccleaner,and regseeker to clean my laptop up... it seems to work well per your awesome staff's recommendation,my question is what is the difference between this and what the computer shop will do,when you tell them unit is running slow? ....signed,amatuer hour.!

Hi,

In the shop when we 'clean up computers' we usually do in addition a bunch of other tweaks such as disabling unnecessary services and startup items. The thing to keep in mind here is that these are a per-machine setting, so one machine it may be acceptable to do a specific tweak but on another machine it may make a certain feature stop functioning properly
