Toshiba a105-21014 all usb ports, phone port, and ethernet port don't work

On my Toshiba a105-s1014, all my usb ports, phone ports, and ethernet ports don't work. Sometimes they do for a few minutes, and then they stop working, and it says that it lost the connection to whatever is in the ports, and they all stop working at the same time. Does anyone have any idea of what might be wrong with it?

Go into Device Manager and see if you see any yellow or red !'s next to any items.

I went checked the device manager, and there aren't any exclamation marks or anything next to the items. Sometimes, when I insert a something into the USB port the computer recognizes that there is something in it, but then it tells me "one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and wndows does not recognize it. For assisance in solving this problem, click on this message." What I find perplexing is how the usb ports, phone ports, and ethernet ports fail all at the same time. Any ideas?

Sounds like a failing Motherboard. The easy way out is to get PCMCIA cards for all the devices you need. The motherboard will cost more to replace than buying a new laptop unfortunately.
