Toshiba laptop--half of keyboard won't work

Can anyone help me? I'm in Europe for the next 5 weeks, and half of my keyboard quit working today. Any ideas?

You can try reseating the cable that connects the keyboard to the computer. If it still does not work, you will have to replace the keyboard.
You can use a usb keyboard as a short term fix.

Thanks for your response. The USB keyboard is a great temporary solution.
