Notebook: Athlon 64 x2 or Turion 64 x2

Hello ..

I am trying to get a notebook for general purpose use.

Now i have to decide which one i can get?

I can get a Athlon 64 x2 Dualcore TK-53

or for 50$ more, i can get similar system with AMD Turion 64 X2 Dualcore TL-56

which one is to get? does that turion worth the 50$?

Hi,

The Turion 64 X2 TL56 is a much better processor, but you probably won't notice much of a difference if any when doing basic tasks like browsing the web, checking e-mail, or typing word documents.
