sound problem
Quote:
My laptop also does that: if i don't see the little computer icon come up in the taskbar i know my computer is gonna freeze up no matter what i do. Even if i go to 'start' and try to shut down using proper procedures it just freezes up. I have to force shut it down using the power button. My laptop is also AMD Turion 64-34 processor. (1Mb L2 cache, 1.8 ghz) RAM: 1Gb DDR HDD: 120GB I thought it was a dodgy CPU. Do you happen to have an Acer Aspire 5004WLMi laptop? I'm not a computer person, therefore I'm sorry if i'm asking dumb questions. Seeing as you're experiencing teh same problem as me, can I assume that mine is also a corrupt Windows installation? And what is a sfc/scannow? How can i reformat my computer before i reinstall? |

Re: Laptop experiences severe problems after boot...
By the way AznDemon, this is not in relation to the CPU problems, but rather the audio in the laptop:
Do you notice that when you play movies or dvds in ur laptop the audio is verrry soft? Even when i turn it all the way up i can still barely hear them talk. Music and youtube etc is fine. It only happens to movies downloaded to the comp, or dvds. Not sure if it happens to all laptops or just mine :( I appreciate any response |
