Re: Laptop Fan

How hot is real hot? It depends you may be able to, which model and brand is your notebook. If you don't already own a cooling pad I would get one, the can cool your notebook down dramatically.

Re: Laptop Fan

I've got a similar problem. It's an LG LW40 Express. When it's just sitting there doing nothing, it's sitting @ about 44, if i run a semi-hardcore program, the temp shoots to over 51, the highest it's gone to thus far is 54. This is when it was in a room with the AC on and set to 19 degrees. The laptop same with options to change the speed and it's set to high all the time.
Apart from a cooling pad, is there any other solution?

Re: Laptop Fan

Try speedfan see if that gives you a lower reading, 68c is very hot, especially for being idle.

Re: Laptop Fan

That sounds better, the Temp1 on my Acer is wild and I don't believe its being read right. The HD0 is fairly high for the hard drive. Your CPU at 38c is normal there nothing to worry about, you could also check your Bios readings too.
