Problem with video card driver?
I have a toshiba satellite laptop, and recently I had problems with the monitor. The screen would go blank and wouldn't respond within two or three minutes of me turning on the computer. I ran it in safe mode, installed an updated spyware scanner, and cleared out some viruses. It worked fine until about a week later when the monitor was going dark at random times. It isn't a virus because all scans are clean.
Can anyone give me a general idea of what's wrong? |

i would suspect a failing backlight can you see anything dimly
one of the laptop experts will reply when they come online
