Startup Scripts

I have a toshiba tecra m5 2.16ghz, 2g ram and i get one problem, fix it, then another comes up!!!!
The new problem is that this 'running startup scripts' message comes up when i turn pc on and it takes forever. This never used to happen.
I do go on a domain at work, could something have been done on that which has affected this?
I am always having problems with this expensive laptop! And it doesn't seem to run faster than lesser laptops!
I run Ccleaner and avg thats all.
Please can someone help?!

Re: Startup Scripts

Sounds like the domain admins loaded scripts on your laptop. It will have problems with this if it can not talk to the domain. Takes forever to time out.

Re: Startup Scripts

One of the work admins should be able to help you with this.

If you own the laptop, ask them if there is some way to block scripts from your machine.
