I appreciate your query is on the same lines, but please create your own thread each time for each problem and stay with that thread until that issue is resolved so you receive info to suit your case and that problems history is all in the same place, again there may be some slight variants that make a difference so it's cleaner and easier for everyone this way, I'll see if I can get this split into your own thread.
That said yes it would appear you need a new battery, BUT, first off how about some details such as make\model and age so we can see what we are dealing with, if it is a new unit it means something else may be wrong. *edit Sorry I missed your model number above, but the age with a bit of history about your charging regime would still help.
