Sony Vaio S buttons problem***Plz Help

i have a sony vaio vgn-fs285h series laptop and recently had to reintsall my OS. now i am facing a problem with the S(combination of 2 buttons used for volume) buttons that when i press them nothing happens. i tried to set the configuration for S buttons and it shows me few options in drop down list that i can use with those buttons.

1. mute
2. external monitor
3. max brigthness
4. launch an applicatio.

there is no option for volume increase or decrease, may be i can set it using the 4th option, but i really dont know.

plz help

Does ur laptop has a volume control button? if it has, you should go to the Sony website and dl the driver for ur speaker. That should solve the problem.

and i don't think you can put functions on the S buttons than they show you there.
