IBM 380XD came in the mail today,,no kidding

Yep ,just got a blast from the past delivered today

I.B.M. think pad 380XD with g-e-n-u-i-n-e intell pentium mmx inside
my intention is to have fun with it and use it as a "legacy" machine for e-mailing and news surfing and the occasional "loaner laptop"

now heres where i could use some help,

I really want to upgrade it to the max .
how biggerfasterbetter can i make it? where do i get upgrade parts for something so old?

since it wasn't intended for windows ME, where can i find some windows NT or95 to re-install?
the power supply i can dig up on my own.
This is gonna be a blast to fool around with.
I will keep you posted

What are the exact specs on the machine?

The most you can realistically hope to upgrade are the hard drive and the RAM, but that can do a lot for an old machine.

I'd check out Linux if you haven't already- there are some slim but very capable distributions that run well on old hardware.

I would wipe Windows and put DSL on it. Anything else will be very slow.
