Hey Hope someone can help I have a ibm t 43 lappy and am running xp pro
I want to use my hd tv as a second monitor but am running int problems with no solutions in sight. I have set up the second monitor in my display properties rebooted and when it was starting up the windows start up screen showed on my tv but then all i had was a grey screen when i logged on same thing, grey screen so i gone back to display and select identify and a 2 shows on my tv but noting else i would like to use my tv to play games and watch movies but all i get it a 2 ?????? can any one help me please !!!! Thank you in advance Corey |

Hi Corey, and welcome to TSF!
![]() Are you trying to clone your display, or have multiple monitors with different images on them? You can do both. Right now, you have the second option enabled. If you drag the window of a program to the right of the primary monitor, it will move into the second monitor.

Go to this settings window:
Start > (Settings) > Control Panel > Display > Settings tab > Advanced... > Displays Here you can configure various display settings including TV-out and cloned monitors.
