Hi all
I have a laptop running on XP.I have connected a slave screen to it and it is a reflecting mirror image of the main screen. My question, Is it possible to run two seperate programs, lets say "word" on the one screen and "excell" on the slave at once?It is a compaq nx 9010 laptop.I think it is more of a setting than hardware but I don't know. All help will be appreciated.

Re: slave screen
Hi, and welcome to TSF!
![]() Yes, this is possible on most graphics. Go to: Start > (Settings) > Control Panel > Display > Settings tab Now plug in the second monitor and turn it on. Then, select the box with the number 2 in it and put a check next to Extend my desktop onto this monitor. If both monitors are the same resolution, set both to their native resolutions. If they are different resolutions, you must set both to the lower resolution.
