URGENT - My computer does not load

My Laptop gets past the POST screen but before the windows xp screen loads, the screen is just blank and nothing happens

Please helps people

That could be a myriad of problems.

Do you get a post beep? or irregular post beep?

I dont get a beep but never have done in the past and its worked great

This problem could range anywhere from basic hardware all the way to IRQ misconfiguration. I recommend locating a copy of Hiren's Boot disk, booting to it and running the diagnostics to see where the problem piece is.

It could just simply be the Windows boot is corrupt. Just a blank screen doesnt tell me enough to diagnose the problem. we need to eliminate either one or the other.

Run the diagnostics on the hardware to see if that is where the problem lies.

tap f8 when booting and from the options try
last known good configuration
