Optical Drive not working correctly
Hello all,
I have have a toshiba a10 (specs are celeron 2.0ghz, 40gb harddrive, 512mb ddr ram) and over the time i have put a new harddrive in it as my old one died. my latest problem is the cdrw/dvd drive isnt working properly. If i put an audio cd in it plays fine and reads cd data disks also. but when it comes to dvd it acts like there not a disk in it. when first put in it makes a noise as though its spinning, but then thats it and all goes silent but the little light still flashes. if i try click the D: drive in my computer it is like im clicking it when there is no disk. this is for all types of dvd's being movies and data dvd's. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix my problem, Cheers. |
