Internet Connection

When I first plugged in the internet, on my laptop, it worked fine, Then it started to lose the connection. I had the cable company who supplies us with internet out, they say it is in the laptop. So we put it into the usb port, becaused the other ethernet port quit, now it will not even connect using the usb port. It worked for a day or so with the usb port.

Hi, and welcome to TSF!

Check that your ethernet adapter is enabled in Network Connections in the Control Panel. Also, try running the setup disk that came with your internet connection again.
