Final attempt to fix "near dead" laptop.

I talked to many people to find an answer to this odd problem, never seen anything like it. Here it goes:

My laptopīs battery somehow discharged even when connected to adapter, I tried many things like using another adapter, taking out the battery, etc.

The following things happen:
  • PC is off - Happens most of the time, when off and plugged 2 leds are on, one idicating that itīs actually plugged in, the other indicating that the battery is charging (orange) or the battery is charged (green). Normally both are on, but sinds a while ago the one idicating that its beeing charged goes on and then goes off every 5 secs or so. Rarely both off them flicker often and has less brightness.
  • PC is ON with battery - Like 5 seconds after I turn the PC on the led idicating that itīs being charged turns off and battery starts to discharge at an incredebly fast rate, or maybe not. It goes from 99% to 35% in like 15 minutes that suddenly it jumps to 7% and then to 0% in 10 minutes and hangs (wow! ) at 0% for almost 30 minutes until it shuts down.
  • PC is OFF without battery - Around 5 seconds after I turn the PC off it turns off, since now it has no battery to consume from.
  • PC is hibernated - same thing as the pc was off, but more often and at an higher rate. Sometimes if I manage to get it charging (pluggin in and out the adapter) and turn it on it stays so and hangs on charging for a while, but thatīs rare.

I should also mention that 1 of the 2 coolers have no "wings" or "flaps" or whatever you would call it due a small accident partially caused by Toshiba itself.

What I already tried:
  • Switched battery
  • Used another adapter
  • Tested RAMīs one by one
  • Tested at various electricity plugs in different locations

What I definitly wonīt do:

No, I wonīt send it to Toshiba to get it repaired... I suspect that my motherboard is half burned down. So it would be better to buy a new portable...

Need your opinion!

Sounds like you have ruled out everything but the motherboard.
