RESOLVED laptop will not boot

Hi,

i turned on my clevo 2200c, and it showed the following message:

KEYBOARD FAILURE - RUN SCU
CMOS FAILURE - RUN SCU
CMOS CHECKSUM INVALID - RUN SCU
KEYBOARD CONTROLER FAILURE
WARNING - NO INTURRUPTS FROM TIMER 0

system is
Clevo 2200c
P3 - 800mhz
512 ram
motherboard unknown

Hi,

There are two things you should do.

First, replace the CMOS battery. It sounds like it has died.

Second, make sure the ribbon cable for the integrated keyboard is securely attached, and unplug any external keyboards.
