(resolved)Dell Latitude CP M233ST Crash

My laptop crashed and would not boot-up. I suspected bad sectors on my harddrive. I repartitioned the hard drive and reformatted same. Laptop will now boot up to DOS. I want to reinstall win98. My pc has a single modular bay. I have a floppy drive and a cdrom drive. My pc recoginizes my floppy but when i plug in the cdrom my pc does not recognize it. My win98 is on cd. I went to dells support website to try and find a dos driver for my cdrom. Went to dos page to find driver and I discovered it requires windows Op-system to load it. Help--More info on my laptop. Dell Latitude CP M233ST--Processor-M233 MHZ/MMX--memory-96 MB--Video card--Neomagic 2160--audio--Crystal 4237B--Harddrive-12073 MB--BIOS--ver-A13--System tag-ZJ3JG

Blow out the bay the cd drive plugs into with canned air. If still no good, I suspect you need another cd drive. You can find them on Ebay.
