question about my new laptop

i just purchased a HP Pavilion dv6245us Notebook. its wonderful, comes with built in camera on monitor. the only thing is, for the life of me i cant figure out how to use it to take still photos. ive gone to the actual hrdwre device on my computer and it only gives the option to uninstall. it works with video feed fine over messenger but i want to utilize it for still photos. in the specs of the system it says specifically it is able to take still photos and video with the camera. any help, suggestions?

Hi,

Is there a program that came with the laptop relating to the web cam? If so, then that is probably what is used to take the photo. It should also be in the laptop manual.
