acer aspire 5050 Tech 3242
Been having a problem with my acer, it will boot up to hit F1 and when I selet any mode that it gives me it and turns itself off and starts at the beginning again and asking to hit F1 and the same window pops up to the modes, whether it is safe mode or the most recent or whatever it always logs off and starts again. That is it...

Hi,
Try booting to last known configuration and see if it fixes it. Also, is it restarting, or shutting down? Disable automatic restart on system failure and see if that gives you a BSOD.

I have tried that and it goes shuts itself off and starts back up and goes to that page where it ask where I want to go, either safe mode, or the last time I was allowed to get on, I've tried all that and it just shuts itself down and then restarts... so now what?

When you get to the boot menu, disable automatic restart on system failure like I said, and it should give you a BSOD. It is restarting rather than shutting down, so it is a Windows problem and not a hardware problem.
