dell laptop-usb drive- help me back to bios

sup guys got a laptop from a friend its "broken" so i thought i take a look at it lets not forget london drugs told him that it would cost 600 to get it fixed, hes a older guy he just thought i could use it(forget about london drugs lol)

i got bios to come up a few times with 2 other laptop hd's i have, then once with usb drive(& plugging my screen into back of lappy)

now i got it and i cant get it to come up the bios(last night it said something i could'nt install xp i dont remember why) that was trying 1 usb drive, i could'nt keep goin had to get battery charger it died on me(bak to black screen)

all i want is to get back to bios AT LEAST so i can mess around...

the usb drive when plugged into my working comp asks me if i wanna reformat it...

later~ workin drive i wanna use is the usb what he was useing..

cant seem to see the edit button anymore,

hmm iv been messing around & i was wondeering what i should do with usb hard drive, format it on a diff comp? put something on it? it got wiped i know that

install something from a different comp , ITS called KC 21 2.5" external enclosure..name of hd

i thought i should reformat it, but i was'nt sure so i thought i ask before i do it ...
