RAM Upgrade for Dell Inspiron 1150
Basically i'd like to upgrade my current RAM on my laptop from 512mb to 1gig and just want to know how to do it and what to get?
I'm not fussed how much it costs etc - all i know is there are no free "slots" for any additional RAM Thanks very much, Will |

Hi Will,
Your Dell laptop will take two of these DIMMs: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820172102 For future reference, take a look at this guide: http://www.techsupportforum.com/hard...ur-laptop.html BTW, I have moved you to Laptop Support.

both guides are a great help, particularly the second one as i havent actually took my laptop apart since buying it from new. as im from the UK will the RAM featured at http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...uct_uid=118514 be suitable or could you recommend one that would do the job? Cheers, Will |

I would get this memory instead, as it is a quality name brand. I also checked on corsair's web site, and it has been verified as compatible.
