HP nc4200 recharge problem
Hello ppl, I`m having some probs with my nc4200. During normal usage, when my battery goes low and I plug ac adapter, the laptop starts working on AC but my battery wont charge (red power LED is off). I`m forced to do a shutdown and re-plug ac adapter and only then my battery will charge and red power LED will turn on. (I`m using original ac adapter)
Is this normal? I havent got any similiar probs with my other notebooks. Thanks! |

Hi,
When you plug in AC and the battery doesn't charge, try removing the battery and putting it back in and see if it charges.

Go into power options turn everything off, so the battery will drain to nothing, then re-charge it. Laptop Batteries have a memory so its good once in a while to fully drain and re-charge it.
