connect laptop to TV
Hi..,
I have a Dell - Lattitude D610 . I need to connect my laptop to TV . I tried using the S-Video port . I could get the picture and sound but no color . I have tried changing display setting a few times and tried making the TV as primary monitor. But to no avail. Not sure what am i missing... The S-Video cable that i am using is 4 pin lead with two RCA jacks. I attach separate cord altogether at the microphone socket for transporting sound to TV. Only color is causing an issue. Any Ideas ? Thanks saysnp. |

Try attaching the laptop to the TV. Then go into the Display Properties, then the Settings tab, then click Advanced... After that, go into the Displays tab (I think that was the name), and configure the TV from there. Make sure to set it to 32 bit color.
I'm not sure about the cable you are describing, could you take a picture with a digital camera or a cell phone? You should have the standard 4-pin S-video connector on both ends, I'm not sure what you mean about the RCA connectors.
