Error
Whenever I turn on my laptop I occasionally get this error message, its happened quite a few times now and I don't know what it is. I've scanned my computer for viruses and apparently I haven't got any. However, now when I try to play music off windows media player it doesn't work, though my sound card does work because I can hear the startup sounds. Also, I cannot change the volume from my laptop.
These are the two error messages: ![]() ![]() If it helps, I am using a custom built Dell Inspiron 6400. |

in the device manager click on view at the top and then show hidden devices and then check to see if there are any yellow marks along side of anything

If this has started recently, then try a system restore to a couple of days before it started happening.
