Dell LCD Issue
I have an inspiron 8600 and have had it connected to an external monitor for the past few months. Yesterday I got a new desktop and disconnected my laptop from the monitor and booted up using the LCD and all I got was black screen. I can faintly see whats on the screen but, very faintly. Do I have a bad LCD?

Hi,
You probably have the laptop display turned off. Thid is notmally a FN + key function Check the manual It will describe how to switch this over. If this doesn't work your laptop monitor back-lightmay have failed. hth Ceri |
