Acer Ferrari 4000 headphone issues
hey, this is my first laptop and im loving it so far the only problem im having is that when i plug in my headphones it doesnt tranfer to them the sound stays on the notebooks speakers..i searched the manual and theres no hot key to switch it any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi and welcome to the forums. It sounds like the sensor inside the headphone jack is not working properly. As you may have guessed, it should automatically switch over to headphones and stop playing audio out of the laptop's speakers. Try using a cotton swab and gently clean the inside (could be a contact issue?). Do not wet the cotton swab. If not, I suggest fulfilling your warranty to have that part replaced.
