No
The only thing I tried was to click on the item that I wanted to delete and told it to delete. [/I don't know how to use a command prompt. I have never had this problem before)

Did you try rebooting? Sometimes Windows just needs a little kick to get it normal again. If that doesn't work, try this:
Start > Run... > Type cmd.exe Its been so long since I used the Windows command prompt. But let's see if I can remember. Try this: Code:
del C:\Docume~1\YourUserName~1\MyDocu~1\NameOfFile.ext Code:
TomSmi~1 C:\Docume~1\TomSmi~1\MyDocu~1\ Code:
ReportforWork.doc C:\Docume~1\TomSmi~1\MyDocu~1\ReportforWork.doc Code:
del C:\Docume~1\TomSmi~1\MyDocu~1\ReportforWork.doc Hopefully that will fix it, but if Explorer always crashes, you can try a system restore to before you encountered this problem. Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
