Greetings admannz, and Welcome to TSF!
Here is the Hp® download site for your Notebook. Have a look at the downloadable manual for the information you require. Post back with any queries/concerns.

Hey,
Thanks for that, the RAM looks easy enough to replace, but the manuals do not seem to mention anything about the graphics card. Is it the case that an integrated graphics card cannot be replaced without replacing the motherboard? |

Integrated cards cannot be upgraded. You can, however, increase the video memory if you are getting slow performance in graphics intensive applications. Go into the BIOS (press F2, Esc, or whatever it says to press at the HP logo), and look around for the video memory.
That laptop will 2 GB. You shouldn't need more than 1 GB if you will not be gaming. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145484 To take out the old RAM, push apart the clips, and lift it up untill its at a 30 - 45 degree angle to the laptop. Then, pull it out. To put the new RAM in, push it in at a 30 - 45 degree angle, then push it down untill it clips into place.
