panasonic cf-71 problem with missing files
Hi there everyone hope someone can help me with this cos ive made a big booboo!!!
Right to start with i went to install a fresh copy of windows xp pro and deleted all partitions, the install went ok but now on boot up i get one or two errors one of which is " no save to disk file found" and something about "phdisc" now the computer runs really slow and it wont download things, keeps coming up with errors. Any ideas would be greatfull |

Hmm... Something might have gone wrong with the install. First, try start, run, chkdsk, restart. If that doesn't work, try re-installing it again, if that doesn't work, it is probably something to do with the hardware, most likely hard disc.

Since it's a fresh install, I'd suggest you zero the hard drive with the hard drive manufacturer's utility and re-install- sounds like remnants of the old install have lead to corruption of the new install. zeroing the drive will leave you with a "fresh" disk to work with
