Gateway Solo 2500 Problems

Hello, I just bought a Gateway Solo 2500 from a friend for 45 bucks. Its running XP and works great with wireless. But there seems to be no openings for a Ethernet/Dial-up connection

! There are modem card slots on the side, and usb hubs (which I use for wireless connections) but no sign of a slot for Ethernets! Im so confused!!!!!!!! This computer was made sometime ago in the late 90s so I am suprised to see that there are no ports! If anyone knows how I could install one on here, I would be much obliged! Thanks!

Welcome to TSF

If your able to find a docking station they include nic' and other slots, other options get an PCMCIA modem/nic adaptor.

The system doesn't have a modem or ethernet jack/support. You'll need to utilize a PC card for any of those functions. I suggest getting a Xircom, since they're all in one...
