LapTop Monitor

Hello:
My Dell laptop monitor has a vertical white stripe like a one inch ribbon on the right side of the screen from top to bottom. I can't get it out.

Can anybody explain what's going on or is there anyway I can get rid of that?

thank you

Dan Kulavil

Greetings DANKULAVIL, and Welcome to TSF!

For us to properly assess your issue, could you please give us the full specs of your machine: e.g: Make/Model and age, etc.

When we have this information, we can then start to assess this issue.

Hi Again,
There is a wealth of information here, it is the Dell™ Support pages.
As I am not running this type of machine, I cannot go any further into the support pages, but I'm sure that you will be able to find a solution there.
Good Luck with it.
Post back with how you get on.

this is a general issue with laptop screens and wifi adapters. call dell and tell em that there is that line and they will or should replace the screen for free.

i had this on my laptop and i had a pink 1 inch line on the left side of my screen also vertically. my laptops from averatec and they explained it had something todo with the wifi adapter and it got replaced
