laptop rebooting problem

my computer is fine untill im downloading a p2p file, when im downloading my computer reboots.. then the disk check error comes up, i let it do that, or skip it depending on how frustrated i am.. then try to finish downloading the file and it reboots again. is there anyway i can fix this?

Laptop over heating IMHO anyone with a laptop should invest in one of these

Suggestions check if the fan is operating/ the intake and out put areas are not clogged.
