Verizon Wireless Broadband Card v620 Problems, It blocks my laptop

Hi, I just got me a Verizon Broadband card v620, but I don't know why the first time I plugged it to my laptop, it didn't allowed me to connect, then I tried to unistall and reinstall the vzaccess software, but then when I slide the card in the laptop just collapsed and It doesn't want to work when the card is in, totally blocked, then I tried to restart the Lptop and windows doesn't start (with the card in the laptop).
Any help would be very much appreciated.

No it's not its a Hp Pavilion ZD8000

Did a little more googling and found out they had a bad batch of these cards. See if Verizon will swap yours for another v620 or better yet, another model.

Also found some info about a laptop bios update fixing some pcmcia problems. Let's try the above 1st before flashing the laptop bios.

But is thee any other way to know if is the Bios or the card???

Not without swapping the card or updating the bios.
