Toshiba Sattelite Pro 445 CDT
Everything works fine on this, its a 132 MB Ram (assuming since it registers around 148k KB of ram) a Pentium I or II with Windows 2000 on it.
I inserted a PCMCIA ethernet card into it. to be exact its a 32 Bit. However none of the lights is coming on on it, or is the laptop detecting it, i assume its not detecting it, not sure. its does list PCMCIA Adapter in the device manager and listing under that a PCIC Compatiable PCMCIA Controller. Whats the problem?

Have you tried the card in another machine. I have a 445CDX and I've tried many cards, so I know it will work. The 445CD- have a Pentium I MMX 133MHz with 128 stock RAM (more than the newwer ones with 64).

I went wireless with everything and got a new wireless card for the laptop.
the ethernet card I got, its a no name card, I have reason to believe its a pirated made card or something from china, it had a sticker on back of it saying Protech, but when I reached Protech and even sent an imagine to em, their was response was it wasnt one of their products. So............I dunno, no driver ever would work for it either, most i heard was that XP would make it work, but XP wouldnt go into this laptop.

XP will work and install, it will just crawl because of the CPU. You can check the model once XP installs it and just find drivers based on that...
